Based on Simon Rich’s book “What in God’s Name”, Miracle Workers turns the perception of heaven on its head while also making the case that humans are worth saving.Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers, and fellow angel Eliza must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help two humans, Laura and Sam, fall in love. The first season of this comedy anthology is set in the offices of Heaven Inc. When God plans to destroy the Earth, two low-level angels must convince their boss to save humanity. They bet him they can pull off their most impossible miracle yet: help two humans fall in love.
